A free Loom alternative for async video.
Loom is a great product. If its free plan limits get in your way, here's an honest look at how Tinkro compares.
Loom popularised async video at work: hit record, share a link, skip the meeting. Its free Starter plan is generous for trying it out, but it is widely known to limit you to 25 videos per person and 5 minutes per recording. After that you need a paid plan or have to delete old videos.
Tinkro takes two approaches. Our free screen recorder needs no account and saves the video straight to your computer, with no video or length cap from us. And the Tinkro app puts recordings inside documents and forms, so a walkthrough sits right next to the questions it answers.

FAQ
Is there a free Loom alternative without a time limit?
Yes. Tinkro's free screen recorder runs in your browser with no account, and we don't set a time or video limit. Very long recordings are limited only by your device's memory.
Does Tinkro upload my recordings?
The free recorder never uploads anything; the file is created and downloaded on your device. Cloud sharing is part of the Tinkro beta app.
